    Shabbir, I believe its important know as to from WHOM you are getting tips and WHAT is the basis of same ? Finally is the tip provider taking RESPONSIBILITY ?

    If all 3 things falls in place then its very much OK to take tips as we can't just says all tips are doom.

    In my life experience, I have seen magazines, business papers and brokers are hopeless. You need to have open mind and look for people who are ready to take responsibility for their tips. All the money I made in equity market till now (since last 3 years to be exact) was all because of good tips provided by my FP and the scripts that failed were like very few which I can count on my fingers and loss was minimum.

    In summary, it all depends on tip provider!
