    Hi Shabbir ,

    When we enter in to some stock with Technical Analysis , If political condition / foreign market direction / RBI action / Crude oil etc will it affect .if yes in that case do we need to change SL and exit .How to handle such situation .For example due to to mamatha pull out from UPA some volatile in market today or if UPA not able to show 273 magic number then it will be very bad for India at this point .

    That means you hit stop loss and exit and then may be enter in stocks that don't hit that bad or show breakout.

    Hi Shabbir,

    Some times, when we fix our target say 15% above the purchase price and stop loss 5% below. Stock runs upto 10% above then comes down to purchase price again. Do we need to revise our stop loss intermittently to prevent missing of such profit taking opportunities? please advise. The same happened to me on Alembic and Geometric picks.

    15% and 5% means you are making a target of 3 times and better take partial profits at 10% and then revise the stop loss above as well.

    Taking profits and trailing stop loss is always preferred. Sanjay Sansanwal prefers 40% 30% and then 30% profit booking at levels of 10, 15 and 20% but then things that works for you best is what you should find.
