    Dear Shabbir,

I am currently going through your book and have a couple of questions -

    1) While identifying the breakout levels(or any other indicator for that matter) what should be the ideal time frame that we consider. If we take a very long/short timeframe then the levels are not clear to me.

    2) Can i apply the techniques mentioned in your ebook to intraday trading ?
Again a little help with the timeframe would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Sunil

The longer the time frame, the better. If stock has break out above 52 weeks high is good but stock at all time high break out is even better.

So break out on longer timeframe is better but that does not mean you should always be investing in all time high stocks and you can look for stocks giving 52 week or 6 month breakout and all time or other highs could be the targets.

Yes you can but then there is no concept of intraday trading and read - http://diytechnicalanalysis.com/members/showthread.php?p=1668#post1668
