Technically no because of low volumes but still if you ask me, it should not break 48.

And how does that help? You will make % of your amount invested only and not on the number of units you own.

So if you buy 50 Rs 100 Quantity and 500 Rs shares 10 Quantity and if both gets a 2% increase, you make the same amount.

So important is your investment amount and the gain percentage and not the price at which the stock is trading.

Maybe i tempted to believe the low price share boost very high percent while high price share does not boost too much

You are not alone and this comes with the assumption that a price rise of few paise in small stock will give you big benefits but after all its a percentage game.

If you think that way then also you should be focusing on high beta stock. Small stock has high beta but then in India they are capped at 5% gain where as big stock has 20% gains as well.

So penny stocks are pretty much non existence in India
