missed the target

    hi shabbir,
    i need an advice regarding this stock. i had baught some stocks of it for the target 1040 and SL 940. i just happened to miss this target and the stock came down. now if i see its' chart, it is making lower top lower bottom. however it has not crossed my SL yet. but since it has touched the target, should i exit since it has come down the trailing SL of 965 or wait till it crosses 940.

    I think 980 a strong support has been broken. Can hold till it stays above 940. Lets wait for shabbir's advice.

    I will say wait for 940 but don't opt for target of 1040 but anything above 1000 can be good to exit this stock. If 940 breaks, don't even think about holding this stock.

    Now let me also explain why to help you make such analysis.

    Above 940 means long term higher top higher bottom since Feb is intact and so it may try hitting new high but once that is broken, there is no pattern.

    Now everything said about the stock based on charts but then markets are going higher and higher due to elections and so if you are in profit, it is good to be coming out of as many stocks as you can and wait for the correction which would come just before the election event.

    Hi Shabbir,

    I'm completely invested as of now. What would be your advise regarding exiting positions ? Complete or Partial exit. Ideally how should I exit.
