LIC HF, Gruh Finance and Repco finance

Hello friends,
I want to know about how to assess housing finance companies and the factors to look into..
The normal ratios such as PE, PB, ROCE don't make sense in my view..Can anyone offer comparison between the above mentioned companies?

Price to book value low in comparison to peers but growing sales and profits, low NPA with peers, promoter increasing stake is a double plus. If you go by Buffet principles of moat company here no one HFC has a moat. Very easy to duplicate this business no competitive edge with any one HFC..only play here is scale and size, and customer service. So I approach such companies from a value investing and rerating perspective. In such sectors where there is no clear moat company I look for mispriced bets. I sell it when it reaches its fair value. same is my view with insurance companies. Right now GICHFC is one I am tracking.
