    How to calculate intrinsic value of stocks. Is it necessary to check it before buying a stock.

    There is no mathematical calculator for intrinsic value. At a price, you have to find the future growth and see if you are comfortable buying it or not.

    For the other question, yes, it is a must for any investment. Will you buy a property without consulting a lawyer if it is clean or has a dispute? The same answer applies to stock investment. Even more so because you can be tricked to buy something junk easily in the market.
