    Hi Shabbir,

    Idea is on verge of breakout indicating short term uptrend. It is forming U pattern.

    If it break 89 level with high volume can reach target of 100.

    Also a W if it crosses 89 and so big chance of getting close to 100 as you mentioned.

    why should it break 89!! even if it breaks 87 it should give break out. Correct me if I am wrong.

    There is resistance at 87, always place buy order at least 2 point above. It was previous high.

    Even we should look at volume too.

    Quick question main trend of market is relevant or not while making trades as per patterns.
    If Nifty is in uptrend should be avoid short trades and go for longs only and in Nifty is in downtrend then we should avoid taking long position. My question is performance of chart patterns is dependent of Nifty / Sensex trend or not.

    It does not matter too much what is the market trend and if stock is in down trend, you can look for your opportunities.

    If the stock trend is in the wrong direction, you can avoid it.

    On top of that you can also use the uptrend in market to wait for the spike in weak stocks which would give you more opportunities to short.

    No I don't think so because it is trying to test the support and so once it does not break the support of 90 is the right time to look into this stock.
