Future or Option

    Hi Shabbir,
    I wanted ask an individual question.
    You don't advocate derivatives but personally given a choice you prefer to trade in option or in futures? I understand the risk and the daring nature but wanted a honest opinion on this.

    Though I have been using Option in recent past but of the opinion future to better fitter to tech analysis as the time involved may ask option to not perform.
    Please give a elaborate answer.

    I have kept a general rule that I only need to trade in futures if my portfolio is in range of crores but given the choice (which I assume based on my portfolio value :D) I would prefer futures because it is similar in nature to cash market from where I would make a switch.
