Does Technicals Matter when Investing in Mutual Funds?

    One question that is bugging my mind is - Does Technicals Matter when Investing in Mutual Funds?

    Yes why not. If you are investing in index fund you should consider the technical of the index and if you are investing in some sectoral funds, you should consider technical of the sectors.

    As an example if you plan to invest in banking funds, you should see how bank nifty is performing and invest accordingly.

    Technicals do matter at the day end. Most of the stocks and funds go by the technicals except on drastic conditions. If you can ascertain the trend and understand the pattern by going through the technical indicators, you can at least prevent the loss if not witnessing any gains.
