Does Cairn India @ CMP (310 Levels) warrant a value buy ? What about the technical charts as well ?

None in this forum interested in valuation + technical based investments. No hybrid thinking. If one's ready to take profits (price permits) or hold on to value investments.
    Thanks

To be very honest, I only think it is better to be making money from market and if I am making one way, do I need to explore every other option?

Very true Shabbir and very well said. I think of these options for the sole reason that I'm not confident enough to trade technically. I hold quite many stocks in my portfolio and find it hard to track each one of these. I just do accumulate or lighten my positions and never get rid of stocks totally. Also I tend to find new stocks to trade as well.

    Thanks ... :)

You possibly fall in love with stocks and it is better to love the gains and not the stock.

Still I've the old question. Is this stock a value buy ? Also, what's going on with this scrip ? Not allowing the stock to go up or down. Any explanations are welcome. I'm thinking of buying in to the stock. Any advises not to buy(fundamentals) ?
    Thanks
    Naveen

Technically there has been a pin bar formation after a long slide down which suggests good support for this stock but as the stock has not done anything after that suggests there is lot of changing hands in this stock and so is better to be waiting and watching.

Fundamentally the stock sales turn over has been going good.

Also EPS of around 63 and book value of 250ish does suggest there should not be too much of downside in this stock but upside can be assessed only if we can understand the reason for such downside.
