Bull run

    Hello Shabbir and Members,

    Did you expect this bull run from mid feb to till now?

    If so what was the reason?

    As we are all retail investors, How much percentage you made money from

    your portfolio.. in this bull run.

    If you did not expect this bull run also, How much percentage you lost

    money in this rally.

    Please vote.

    I just wanted to know are we really understanding the market or

    manipulating by some body.

    My answer : starting of the rally, i expected in India things are improving like

    GDP,CAD and Corporate results but tapering made me scarey finally not able

    to get the money in this rally .... and 35% loss from my portfolio .... but my

    technical skills are improved and understood the market behavior .

    * I believe to understand the behavior of the market means (events) bull

    run/ bear run/ consolidation years of experience is really required.

    If we are able to read the chart well definitely will get the money but mind stability is also required.

    No I did not expect the bull run and in fact I was thinking about a market correction since Jan to Feb (For my ELSS investment) but as it did not come, I am not investing in ELSS funds this fiscal.

    Quite a lot. At times we have to put a break to the grid and come out of the market and then close the market terminals or else you may end up buying even higher and then market can just topple.

    Not making money does not mean loosing money and I made almost 10% in very short span of time and so I am booking most of my profits. Even in mutual fund investments to the extent I should.
