    Hi Shabbir,

    11/Sept Amtek Auto 53% up.

I trade through ICICI DIRECT and take position sell futures of Amtek Auto at some price.

1.After I took the position the trade gone against to me 10% so then I tried close out the position at market price, but the trade was not executed (don't know the reason) and still another 20/30% gone against to me then I kept quite.

    2. After some time finally the stock turns favor to me 30%, chart is showing exact price changes but in ICICI DIRECT the stock Amtek Auto price is not updating compare to chart price in Intraday (don't know the reason)

Finally I closed the position at market price with a big loss (this time ICICI DIRECT executed my order) I supposed to get huge profit if ICICI DIRECT updated the price exactly the chart price.

    Money Control.com:
At 14:45 hours IST, the scrip of Amtek Auto was quoting at Rs 48.60, up Rs 18.20, or 59.87 percent amid high volumes on the Bombay Stock Exchange. There were pending buy orders of 295,441 shares, with no sellers available.

Could you please let me know, what could be the reason?
Please clarify it was my fault/ICICI DIRECT why the order was not executed and stock price is not updated in ICICI DIRECT?

    Thanks and Regards,
    Siva.

Not sure if I can help because it could be some technical fault on the side of ICICIDirect. Call them and hope someone would listen to you.

For ages I have been saying to avoid ICICIDirect for any trading. They have over the top brokerage and for these kind of services then God knows what they are doing.

Please check with ICICIDirect and if you can prove it was their fault they should compensate for your loss. If they aren't able to do it then suggest you can move your account to a good broker.
Initially I did have my account with ICICIDirect and due to few technical issues I moved to HDFC Sec.

It would help if you have the screen shot / check the order book..
You will have the exit time of order placed I guess.. compare it with the chart price and you will come to know at the time you placed order what happened....

I had ICICDirect.. but because of brokerage and other mess moved to Ventura1 (I feel its good). Brokerage comparison heard Zerod also gives good options... (Well If you are planning to change from ICICI check for other brokerage.. consider the software platform supported there tools research available with the brokerage)

I am not sure if we already have an article.. Our Shabbir with his exp and knowledge could help in points to be considered while choosing a brokerage I assume.

Yes I have it and ICICIDirect is the last brokerage you should be having for trading. http://shabbir.in/stock-brokers-review/
