Please don't jump into Axis Bank thread and post about some other stock. Either search for that stock and discuss in that thread or else you may create a new thread for that stock.

Thx Shabbir, Im following same breakout strategy but not at major resistance level.

While taking positions Im also checking Volume. For these small spikes, making use of options.

Also Im keeping stop loss for these kind of entries. Please correct me If im worng.

    Regards
    Sujan

No you are doing it right because stop losses are the things you should never miss and best of the best traders and never always right but the amount of time they win outperforms the amount of time they loose but they loose too.

Im strictly following below two step process while taking positions at short term breakouts.

    1. 10 days mov avg must be above 30 days.
    2. It must be break out and volume should increase at same time.

    Hi Sanjay,

It was in side ways ranging from 1089 - 1109 several times. Mentioned clearly it is good for 3 - 4 days.

Initially even I Set target of 1120....but looking at the script in side ways I squared off when it was at 1105

    Regards
    Sujan

Interium breakouts are always good for 2 - 3 day trading. Again you have to look at Volume and other Indicators.

    Dear,
Every thing was fine in this trade look at the attached file there was volume increasing, upper bollinger band is moving with the price, lower sma cut above the higher sma and w break out too.
But there is one mistake which I realize that I put my stoploss @ near resistance not @ the near support which is 1000 and i am sure axis bank will not break 1000 level.
Always I put my stoploss at near suppot but I don't know why I did that.
It's okay it is a new lesson for me.
    Thanks for ur kind concern.

True, everyday is learning in stock market. I will make use of Interium breakouts to trade in Future and Options. Will square off with Rs 2 - 3 profit.

NTPC - played in option last week ( Paper trade)
    Gail - Played in Future.
    Axisbank - Options
    HUL - Future

    Regards
    Sujan
