    Shabbir ! I would like to keep Pidilite as a fixed deposit for 5 yrs.What's your opinion?

    For 5 years it should be invested based on fundamentals of the company and so let me share what I think about Pidilite.

    Positives

    • Sales growing in last 5 years but has not doubled but going strong.
    • Total income almost doubled in last 5 years and has grown by 50% in last 3 years.
    • Net profit is growing inline with total income
    • Company is paying good dividend.
    • Operating profit is going good.
    Negatives

    • EPS has not increased inline with income which means more shares from company has been issued.
    • Book Value is almost a constant for last 5 years.
    I would prefer to invest in stock like this but then it is too expensive compared to book value and EPS and so my call would be technical on this stock and not fundamental.

    so as per technical its good buy @ around 188-195 with stop loss of 180-175...

    pls share your views...

    No I think that it has still formed a V and now W or U and I would wait for such formation before taking a buy call technically

    I have entered in @ 207 on Friday.
    These are my personal views and purely technical.
    Pidilite can buy @ cmp 207 with stop of 188 for the target of 222-238-247.

    I have entered @ 209 and would like to see levels around 250 .Because I am amazed by the low book value of the stock.
