I will not go for shorting the stock in profit booking phase. However there are situation where one can short.

If stock is in uptrend look for shorting pattern formation and breakdown of its last pull back price (support while falling) than can go for short also there should be negative divergence in volume.

In case of Apollo it didn't break down 88 - 90 level form where stock was bounced, so no short here.

If stock is downtrend also look for support shorting pattern formation and breakdown of its major support from where stock would have bounce in past.

 

I am very sorry sujan because I don't know any link regarding but I will tell u the book name which I have read at my brother in law's house.

I don't find stock quite interesting right now. it should be bought above 102 with stop loss of 88.

 

Head and shoulders pattern formed in Apollo tyre. Shorting below 87 would lead to 83 - 80.

Correct me if I'm wrong shabbir. it has touched low of 88.3 today

 

About head and shoulder u r right but lets see it able to breach 88 level or not.
By the way I am in trade of apollo and my stop loss is 88 as well.

Low of today is 88.80 not 88.30 in nse cash

 

Booked Loss @ 89.35, I hope no one followed me earlier I mentioned clearly that it is risky call.
If any one followed then very sorry for loss.

I took very small position and booked loss at 87 (loss of Rs.600/-).

 

If yes then how they are giving tips to so many people.In 2011 Nov -Dec I subscribed for Intraday tips from Pradeep Surekha .It was horrible.His most of the tips go the opposite direction to eat up the stoploss.At that time I bought your e-book.Now I don't use those tips.Learning is a continuous process but now I feel more comfortable.Even if my SL is hit I don't repent because this was my own calculation.At least I am not cheated by so called analyst.

 

Don't get trapped by these so called multibagger they are calling it multibagger only because of good news and fundamentals but technically it is in downtrend according to me u can analyze it easily by attached pic.

If some one wants to buy apollo then it can be buy only above 97 level with stop loss of 74.

There is a shorting opportunity in apollo.

For safe side short below 84 with stop of 88.
