    Shabbir and friends...how to know whether the company is gaining or losing the market share in that particular sector...kindly share your inputs

    I am not a fan of knowing about the market share. If the sales is growing for the company, it is quite impossible that company may be loosing the market share. Even if it does, it can be short term loss in market share only. So I like to see growing overall sales figure.

    If you want to know then the only place you may find numbers is in the company annual report or investor presentation
