    Dear Shabbir,

    Whats the outlook on Ashok Leyland ? Fundamentally the stock looks good , but am skeptical about the recent news which has hammered this stock. Do you feel that at this price there is an entry point to bet big?

    Rahul, As an investor you have to look at the news as a stick to invest if you think the company can manage to overcome them in the long-term. If you think those news are bad but they won't remain bad in couple of years time, one can consider accumulating. I am not saying this for Ashok leyland but any investment in general.

    Dear Shabbir,
    Thanks. I would also need your suggestion on Caplin Point pharma. The stock is seemingly available at attractive valuations. It is not impacted by USFDA as its operations are primarily in Africa and South America. Its has delivered profit growth as well. Can this be a good bet. I understand that the Brazilian economy and currency is having some challenges and the stock might get impacted...

    This is true. When you are buying into a portion of the business, you need to be sure if this is the business you want to own, despite all the noise in the background.

    Everything looks promising but only thing to consider is why the stock fell from 500+ levels to 300 odd levels in June.
