V-Guard was recommended by Shabbir Bhai openly to forum members in 2011 at around 200 and 400 and it has gone to split to 25 shares and is at 200 niw. So it is his recommended stocks.

Escorts fundamentaly good company to invest for long term it is number 1 company the sector.
The sector is showing very good growth due to good monsoon rains and government support.

Worth investing for long term, wait for dip in the share price before investing.

V-Guard is an awesome investment but it is costly as well and so should be used to accumulate in dips.

Escorts is in commercial vehicle business but a 45 PE is quite high for me and so I opted for Force motors over Escorts. https://www.diytechnicalanalysis.com/community/threads/force-motors.2820/

Infibeam is an avoid because it has a giant competitor like Amazon and then to an extent flipkart.
Link to my suggestion thread. https://www.diytechnicalanalysis.com/community/threads/v-guard-can-be-a-good-play.98/

Never assume it will and let it make one.

Their November sales have taken a significant hit when compared to previous month (domestic sales dropped by 31 percent and exports down by 94%.) But their November sales even in 2016 saw a significant drop. Best to wait for recovery.

Exactly. The numbers aren't good enough to put your neck out and buy right at this moment.

Yes I do hold but I have not averaged it down. There is no point in selling at the current level of price at the book value where I see lot of earnings yield. Will decide once we start to see some growth in the company.

Also the reason I can keep holding is, it is hardly 1% of my portfolio either.
