    Got this SMS from HDFC securities though I don't have account with them

    HALERT : Buy MIENT 540023 (BSE500) ABOVE 105 INTRADAY 113 SL 98 135+ In Week.

    Hi, I don't like to trust such SMS.. but because of HDFC, I've invested, when it was ~102.5, 500shares.. so far going good..

    Neither do I trust those SMS and remember SMS like those can be faked to be from HDFC

    Nothing wrong with these tips. However it's always good to do your own research on the tip with regards to company, balance sheet, industry etc track record and then take a call. After all it's your money and don't get carried away by the lure of quick returns.

    Bonus news is from BSE site and so should be authentic.

    I am talking that SMS can be faked as well and faked very easily. Just Google for fake SMS sender. It is very easy to send SMS as anybody atleast in India.

    i would suggest don't follow this kind of sms because they are manipulative and to increase the buyer volume or manipulate the price of the stocks.

    I do feel Nothing wrong with these tips. Because of these tips we may have special attention on those picks & do our own research and If it Qualifies our criteria we are done.

    These SMS can easily be faked and tipsters use the name of others credibility advisory firms to make us believe in this SMS ., thereby demand increase in volumes pushing prices further .
    Am receiving multiple SMS by name of HDFCSEC/ANGELBROKING/MOSL ETC., How come our database is with them ???
    I too received the same SMS what @nirajshah ji received. :)

    Well I have trading account with HDFC, but they don't send any messages as it is under charged service. However, having said that I did got that same message from HDFC, but I think it is sent by somebody else in the name of HDFC.
