Cashless way - beneficiaries

    In cashless society which among the following stocks are good for investing
    1. Tanla
    2.TVS electronics
    3 hcl info system
    4 nucleus software
    5 rs software
    6 quick heal
    7. Vakrangee
    8aurion prosolns

    Let me share views on each of those stocks in brief:
    • Tanla - Very low promoter holding of 30% at such a low valuations and under book value price.
    • TVS electronics - Considerable debt with under 2% operating profit margins.
    • hcl info system - 4 years of loss making is not acceptable to me at any price.
    • nucleus software - 2008 to 2013 flat sales, 2014 to 2016 again flat sales. Has come up with good offline payment solutions but I doubt the marketing capacity of the company.
    • rs software - Very low operating profit margin in 2016 due to dip in sales. Could be because of losing Visa as a client. Would like to see this company doing well before they can have my money. BTW I have worked in RS Software
    • quick heal - I am not sure why this is a beneficiary of digital payment. We had a boom in use of smartphones, and not sure digital payment will add lot more smartphones.
    • Vakrangee - Can actually benefit as they focus on rural India and retail sales.
    • aurion prosolns - On their website I could not find any NBFC or bank who are their customers using their banking related products.

    Nothing very convincing for me and only slightly Vakrangee. I would prefer to go with India growth story than cashless benefit stock stories.

    Don't see any direct benefits coming from cashless but telecom as a sector has seen best of its days from 2000 to 2010 and everything for the company is in the price and has worked out in the past.

    I would see this as a greater push to e-governance than cashless. Lots of government back end systems and processes will need upgradation. Front end will need enhancements. My vote is for ABM knowledgeware if I have to pick one right now

    Arrow green tech may be a beneficiary too. The investor presentation talks about supplying special paper for currency notes and also paper security using technology. Even otherwise Of the special paper business it's in am bullish on this stocks fundamentals and niche products space it operates in.
