Diwali is approaching. What stocks would you bet on?

My picks would be sugar stocks- Dwarikesh Sugar, Upper Ganges and Balrampur Chini. Also stocks like Kansai Nerolac, Berger Paints, Dabur, Marico, Parag Milk. Remember to book your short term gains before the Diwali Day since a small profit booking is on the cards. These are the stocks I would be buying like crazy from next week. Also keep an eye o select stocks from the NBFC space. What stocks would you all be playing?

 

if market is going to scale new high around diwali, it will correct around 100 to 200 points within 20 days. it will correct for liquidity. because at the present liquidity it can't scale new high, so correction is necessary . RBI policy announcement is also in october, chances are policy rate will be cut by 50 basis points. seventh pay commission is also in picture. so major sectors to get leg up with all these will be - BANKS , NBFCS , AUTO & HOUSING. out of these BANKS , NBFCS & AUTO kook good. so invest in market leaders of these sectors. it is individual gut feeling to take call in sector he feel comfortable.
