Agree but we are already late by a day and so SL is quite higher than ROI

And also this is low floater as well with too many circuits from 20 to 70 and so not sure I would look into this stock technically.

Let me answer this question in detail about how to identify such movements, what can be the strategy and when you should be avoiding it all in the first place.

    1. Can you identify such movements when the stock is at around 150

Yes you can. BTST pattern, See a clear pattern is being formed at around 150ish with support being taken at around 110, 120ish and 130ish and so clearly a breakout or an anticipated breakout can be played for.

    2. Should you play such stocks technically.

The answer is NO. The daily traded volume and price is so low, it can be manipulated very easily technically.

    3. When you should avoid such stocks?

Always technically and you should invest in low floaters only fundamentally and with a view of 10 years when business can turn things around.

So now if you invest fundamentally, you should not be doing once it has done the runup and ideally you should be buying such stock at very low PE, very low book to price and other fundamentals like unique business and good management.

Debt may be high in companies but if management is working towards reducing it by seeing interest going down qoq, yoy should be good judgement.

    Hi Ram,
To add to Shabbir's points, the chart doesn't seem to be good especially from May to Aug15 as the price increase is not justified in the candle pattern which means technically this is not a good chart to trade in and with too much of volatility.
You can refer to Century Ply's chart to see how the candlestick is supporting the volume though I'm not recommending Century Ply for a buy though would like to highlight the difference.
