    Hi Shabbir,

    I Have HCL Technologies Shares they announced results today :

    HCL Tech Q2 net up 2.3%, $ rev rises 4%, issues 1:1 bonus

    can hold or sell?

    please explain both, i thought of exiting by booking profit but they announced bonus share of 1:1 so bit confused on how bonus will work can you explain that also.

    Can you share your levels technically? Also those numbers and other things are not for technical investors.

    Bonus will mean you will get double the shares and the price of the shares will be halved.

    I was entered at 1508 and kept stoploss of 1485 and i was expecting target of 1700+

    Target is hit and so now you can go with a trailing stop and ride the profits.

    If record date is near then we may see little bit more upside.

    Same sort of a thing happened with infy sometime back after infy declared last qtr results.

    Even I am holding HCL tech entered at 1540. Sold partial when hcl tech touched 1700+ once on Jan 19.

    Hcl tech also declared dividend of Rs 8 per share. They have not fixed record date yet for bonus. Waiting for it now.....

    Yes the runup is on and so yes it should but be ready for lot of actions happening.

    Yes .... little scary on the "lot of actions" which can happen...

    Today again Hcl Tech was firing up.
    HCL Tech was up today to touch lifetime high of 1900. Still holding......
    And still no dates for bonus.

    Only dividend date has been declared. Dividend of Rs. 8 per share and date has been fixed as Feb 04, 2015.

    Keeping fingers crossed.

    HCL Tech zoomed up today, made high of 2040 today (closed at 2033).

    For trailing stop loss I keep previous days low as stop loss but there is no rule of percent.
