New feature: In-Browser Notifications

    Hey all! Rolling out a new feature today.

    Presenting - In-browser notifications!

    (*on supported systems - currently Safari, Firefox and Chrome desktop browsers).

    You will receive a browser notification now for:
    • Private Messages Received
    • Subscribed Thread updates (i.e., replies)
    • "You've Been Quoted" - when someone quotes you in a reply
    Hopefully you will find it useful in making discussions faster and more in real time.

    You can switch them off if perhaps you're at work or finding them too much!

    To do this, visit your User CP -> Edit Options page and find the 'Disable Desktop Browser Notifications' tick box.

    Note that these notifications are for desktop browsers only when you have the browser window kept open.

    Please share your feedback on this feature below and if you would like more notifications to be added in the future.

    You can just subscribe to the thread. Click the thread tools menu and you will see subscribe option or use the subscribe button. [​IMG]

    I have been busy with lot of things but this one feature is just awesome. Haven't see such feature anywhere to be honest.
