i want to invest in the stocks for long time investment.
for that i want the details of the stocks which gained the most since its starting
I.e the stocks which moved only upwards over a long time, with its details so that i can calculate the returns
I can see the stock details individually but there is no list for the stocks which gained over a long time.(also percentage)
I am searching in money control.com or profit.ndtv. but not getting the detail (they are giving the detail to max. 1 year only)
where can i get this detail?

You are searching for wrong things. You should invest technically for stocks that has done well for sometime and can do well in the near future.

Look for stocks like Lupin, Nestle and Asian Paints.

Then what should be the criteria to buy a stock for a long time and to earn approx. 12% per year?
Does this means that you should change the stocks frequently? or keep one good stock and wait for its return over a long time?
What will be the investment strategy?

You can keep same stock and the ones that I have mentioned have performed more than 12% for last couple of years.
