    I think there are 2 views while buying gold. One is, it is considered god metal i.e. precious metal for investing for marriage or household use. These persons who stay invested never care where the prices are. They have the strategy to purchase gold time and again what come may. Another genre is real and pure investor/trader, who only buys gold for minting money. These persons are cautious and watch market timings and positioning for buy and sell of gold. So in india gold has not lost its charm in the genre of first type of persons but yes in second type of persons it has become a shaky metal. And as on today it is risky in dealing in gold. One week you are away it will make or break you.

    Sorry in advance if anyone feels it is useless.
    According to me invest in gold is totally worth less cause it is immaterial which is y it can not grow/degrow. It doesn't have any working capital not manufacturing anything even not selling services, so why should I go 4 that?
    I don't find any thing interesting to get involve in gold buying or selling.
    Gold is basically totally depends on news and political decisions and vary country to country.
    There is no point for me to trust gold for trading or investing purposes, yes I can buy gold if my wife say so but that is only for her accessories or u can say a asset if we'll get in bad phase in future, for any other reason BIG "NO"

    Forget to add 1 major point.

    Even Gold plays a very bad impact to our India economy too because of physical investment.

    You are on the first view of @vankudrevakil :D
    Investing in Gold is not meaningless according to me because charts of it are no different than any other stock.

    I invest in pattern and not the underlying business or commodity.

    U r right about charts but it is more or less news driven too which we often see in stocks but lesser compare to gold.

    Anyhow views may differ person to person.

    Wow what a run-up.
    I requested not to follow as my 1st recommendation on Gold, so not sure anyone initiated or not.

    one of my client asked me to initiate and I followed, result earned 5,17000 in just 5 days, sorry can’t update screen shot as he is not comfortable and as per terms and condition I am not allowed to show any of my clients data socially without their permission. Few have given me permission and I mostly post their trades.

    I can only say that technical actually works on any kind of Market but to earn you have to be educated.
