Most of the banks have formed bullish pattern.. Looks like most of the banks will show good jump. My picks:

    1. Yes bank and Canara bank-- target 490+ SL 440
    2. OBC -- target 370+ SL 330
    3. ICICI -- 1170+ SL 1100
    4. SBI -- 2370+ SL 2250

    Hi

Can you explain how to trade Bank Nifty ? I'm a novice on this and haven't done before. What's the cost per unit ? Also what other difference is there compared to individual stock trading. What about dividend factor if going long on bank nifty

    Thanks
    Naveen

No but wait for few trading sessions and then see if it does not crack 1100, then you can go long with 1100 as stop.

Bank Nifty is traded in futures and so unless you understanding trading in futures, you can avoid it. Many argue on this but I have never felt need to trade in future or in options.

Still I will answer your questions.

You have to buy lots in futures and bank nifty is no difference.

Yes there is difference than trading in cash market which is you don't need to invest the complete amount and take a lot of Nifty with the margin money only and I don't recommend margins - http://shabbir.in/no-margin-trading/

There is no dividend when it comes to trading in indexes like bank nifty or nifty
