    Titan is on verge of Breakout of its previous 52 week high 265. It is trading at 261. High volume also recorded.

    It is getting to all time high and not only 52 week high and this stock has history of good moves and so should be in watch list always.

    Sujan seems titan also formed similar flag pattern like Tataglobal......... above 272 is it a good buy?

    I had entered into the at 272 on sat.
    If i have analysed correctly the stop loss should be at 225-230?

    Do answer .

    I have entered into TITAN CE 280 @ 3.40 for 1 lot...

    So is there any stoploss for stock option??? like below 3 or should i wait till TITAN stock to cross 280 before expiry...?

    Pls suggest your view on this trade...

    Don't square of options for loss. In today Intraday chart we could see support at 270 - 271.

    Next week is expiry....so please square of by this week or earliest of next week.

    Make sure that you square of with descent profit

    Titan touched 295 today.
    My target is hit.
    Shabbir what should be strategy/ I want to book profit and come out today but on the other hand second thought is coming to stay in the stock for longer term for bigger gains? as the stock is good. One should renter into it again or what should one do with good stock like this?

    Do answer in detail buddy as I am anxious on the strategy to adopt.

    The best strategy in Titan that I would adopt are any one of the following.

    1. Split the target and sale as the stock moves higher.

    25% in first target, 35% in second target and rest in third target.

    Now the targets that I calculate is 2,3 and 4 times my stop loss.

    So if I entered into a stock at the price of 100 with a stop loss of 88 then the amount I am ready to loose is 12 Rs and so my target would be 124, 136 and 148.

    2. Sale everything that brings capital back and profit remains in stock.

    One of my friend told me how he trades in stock which I have never used till date but he follows the same and has a very large portfolio now.

    He buys a stock for 100 Rs and then when he hits his first target of say 120 he sales so many units such that he gets his capital invested amount back.

    So if he has purchases 1000 units of a share at a price of 100 Rs then he has invested 1 Lakh and so at 120 he would sale 1 Lakh / 120 units i.e. 834 units and keep the rest in his portfolio for years.

    He makes sure he invests only in blue chip stocks and at times he has waited many months to get to his targets as well.

    3. Trailing stop loss.

    Unless I would see a big candle down, I would keep my stock with a trailing stop loss which would be below the previous days low. Remember this is more risky and so adopt it only if you are sure what you are doing.
