Suggest some children mutual fund

    I want to invest 1L in children mutual fund for my child education.
    Which fund should i invest? I already have HDFC children gift fund.
    Also strategies to invest in fund.

    You don’t need a specific children’s fund to invest for your kids. This children’s stuff is a gimmick by fund houses. Go for the funds Shabbir has suggested importance to be given to long term investing like you would invest in your kid 18 years of schooling Home and school.

    I am not sure about that but doing it in the name of the minor is same as making a minor a nominee because your PAN anyways has to be added.
