Need suggestion to invest 20K monthly in mutual fund

    About me by now:
    1. I have invested 50k amt in icici pru value fund series 18 . NFO
    2. 2k sip in Icici focussed bluchip.
    3. Then I read or blog and after series of article I invested 50k in franklin small cap.
    4. Now I want to invest 20k monthly in name of my wife. Pls suggest to have a good portfolio. I am thinking to invest this in 4-5 mutual fund in 4K-5K SIP.

    I had gone through shabbir blogs and shortlisted some. But since I am very new. I need you guys to suggest me by changing this list.

    1. Mirae Asset emerging bluechip fund
    2. HDFC balanced fund
    3. Franklin india small company fund
    4. Quantum long term equity or mirea asset india opportunities fund
    5. ICICI pru value discovery fund

    Sabir, what is your view on DSP small and mid cap and l&t infrastructure fund. I need your suggestion before starting sip on these two.

    I wouldn't recommend Infra fund unless you really know what thematic funds is all about and want to diversify your portfolio into an infra fund. Remember when the sector does bad, thematic fund has not place to hide.

    Your choice of small and midcap fund is awesome
